MONDAY NIGHT MEN'S. •
The lead changed hands this week as Lit-
tle Bowl scored 22 points over A.M.&G. Son-
ny Moore rolled an impressive 805 for Little
Bowl. Larry McDougall had a 675 for
A.M.&G. Don Carrick, for the previous
leaders John's Jokers, rolled a 359 single
and 855 triple. However, his team ran into a
but French team who scored a 22 point win
over them behind a 781 triple by Dick
McLean and a 739 by Kevin Rumig. Poverty
Pak had a 20 point night over the Tail Ends.
Bob Bryans rolled a 267 single and 636 triple
for the Tail Ends and Jim Carrick had a
261 single and 700 triple for Poverty Pak.
Cedar Lodge, helped by a 270 single by Brad
Chase, scored a 25 point night over Legion
109. Gerry Pitre of Legion 109 rolled a 585.
Roy's Boys came up with a great team ef-
fort with scores of 1,214, 1566, and 1,566 as
they defeated Selinger Wood 22-8. Rich
Duckworth of Roy's Boys had a 267, 307, and
306 for a total of 880. He was closely matched
by Carson Milley of Selinger Wood, who roll-
ed an 801 for the night.
MONDAY NIGHT LADIES
Joyce's Jets and Auleen's Angels fought to
a 4-3 split with Joyce's Jets coming out on
top. Joyce Hamilton of the Jets had a 261
single and 614 triple to lead the way. Trou-
ble, led by a 597 triple from Ruth Ann Bren-
nan defeated the No Names 5-2. Del Geddes
for the No Names had a 267 single and 631
triple. Betty Fisher rolled a 589 triple for the
Marionettes as they overcame the
Oldtimers team 5-2. Bev Million of the
Oldtimers rolled a 523. The only seven points
scored were by Shirl's Girls as they
defeated the Blazersm'Dorothy Bourdeau for
Shirl's had a 256 single and 657 triple.
TUESDAY NIGHT FARMERS
'rhe league leading Orioles scored another
five points as they defeated the Goderich
Hayseeds. Jim Harrison for the Hayseeds
rolled a 683 triple and was matched by Doug
Vock with a 685. Nile and the Goderich Kids
split 4-3 this week. Nile took the four points.
Tim Gerrits rolled a 679 triple for Nile and
Steve Johnston rolled a 636 for the Kids.
Goderich Lepperds took five from the Coun-
try Pals this week, by virtue of a 2,878 team
triple over a 2,804 team triple. Graham
Hamilton and his Berzerko Buddies lost five
points to the Timberjacks. Graham rolled a
293 single and a 681 triple while Steve Fuller
had a 599 for the Timberjacks. Wood But-
chers won five with Ron Plunkett throwing a
675 and Lloyd Haskell roiled a 641 for the
Goderich Hustlers.
TUESDAY NIGHT MIXED
The Tricky Six, led by Dick McLean, were
the winners of five points this week over
Bell's Angels. Dick rolled a 700 triple and
Walter Bell had a 712 for the Angels. The
Bowled Eagles also took five this week as
they defeated the Frame Ups. George Sut-
ton of the Eagles had a 637 triple. Richard
()'Hewell also had a good night as he had a
283 single and 663 triple. The Unpredictables
and Pinheads had a 4-3 split this week. The
Unpredictables took the four, led by Helen
Durnin with a 571 triple. Peter Bergen rolled
a 261 single for the Pinheads. The Pin
Pickers had a very consistent team effort as
they totaled 3,681 to defeat the Dirty Half
Dozen, 7-0. Bob Graham had a 642 for the
Pin Pickers and Larry Million rolled a 614
for the Dirty Half Dozen. Don Henry, with a
617 triple for Ernies Road House led with his
team to a 5-2 win over Unknown. Vi de Haas
of the Unknowns, tripled 603. The pins were
falling for Barb Chapman as she rolled a 377
single and an 814 triple. Her Barb's Gang
however. only managed three points, as the
Rookies had a 693 triple from Jack Gilbert to
win.
LADIES WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON
The Happy Hippos with a league leading
44 points, came through with another seven
point performance as they defeated the
Running Deers. Shirley Smith with a 637 and
Grace Mugford with a 593 led the way.
Marion Miller and her Alley Cats took five
from the Lions. Marion rolled a 587 triple
while Kay Glen for the Lions was right
behind her with a 563. The Tigers, with a 206
single from Cathy Hiusser and a 571 triple
from Sheila Brownlee took five points from
the Eager Beavers. The Eager Beavers
received a 272 single and 583 triple from
Mary Lou MenThe Monkeys and Ponies
split 4-3, with the Ponies winning the day.
Mary Jeffery .of the Ponies rolled a 490 triple
and Vi de Haas had a 520 for the Monkeys.
Jean Schram also rolled a 202 for the
Monkeys. The Pussy Cats took all seven this
week over The River Rats. Yvonne
Dougherty rolled a 614 for the Cats while
Rose Rising had a 516 for the Rats. Dianne
1 ,eddy threw a 268 single and 737 triple as
her Cuddly Bears won five points from the
Dainty Deers. Janet Rumig and Olive
Gilbert had identical 597 scores for the
Deers Gwen Berry of the Cuddly Bears
showed premise as she came through with a
500 triple.
WEDNESDAY NICHT MEN'
Two teams are tied for the lead in this
league, they are Culberts l$kery and Dirk's
Galley. This week, Culberts gained a share
of the lead by defeating C.C.C.B. 5-2. Barry
('ulbert led the team with a 683 triple while
overcoming a 605 triple from Roy Kaminska
nn C.C,C.B. Dirk's Galley however, were be-
ing downed 5-2 by Little Joe's. Duane Horton
with a 673 and Larry Essex with a 651 led
little ,Joe's and Robert Lee rolled a 716 for
Dirk's. John Miller with a 390 single and 835
triple and his Aivin's T.V. team lost five
points to the Lakeport Steelers. Lakeport
had a fine night with a 716 from Don Henry,
a 676 from Bob Graham, and a 671 from Rob
Little. The Nimrods took two from Cham-
pion as Paul Good rolled a 638 triple. Dave
Sowerby led Champion with a 299 single and
732 triple.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT MIXED
Seven points were taken by M & P as Doug
Vock rolled a 603 triple against the Knock
Outs with Bruce Carrick rolling a 593 Kit-
chigami Road Runners and the Crazy Six
split 4-3 this week. The Crazy Six took .four
points behind a 693 triple by Ken Brownlee.
Bob Kelly rolled a 293 single and 668 triple
