Helen Fisher rolled a 302 single and 619 triple to lead her Foot Pina to a 5 - 2 win over The.Missing Pins_ MONDAY MEN'S This year the Monday Men's league is trying out a new scoring system. This is where each member on a team bowls head on with a member on the opposing team for a single point each game. This Means that each bowler can notch three points in- dividually each night for his team. Three points are awarded to the team with the highest score per game and three points to the team with the highest score per game and three points to the team with the highest score for the night. This totals thirty points that each team is rolling for per night. Each bowler has an individual handicap based on a 250 average so that the games are in- teresting. Don McDougal's 713 triple for Selinger- Wood and Steve Allen's 710 triple for Cedar Lodge almost cancelled each other with Selinger-Wood coming out on the winning end of a 17 - 13 split this week. Poverty Pak and A.M.&G. also had a 17-13 split. A.M: &G. came out on top led by Dick Eisler with a 604 triple. Gerry Pitre had a very respectable 628 triple for Legion 109, but was beaten 29 - 1 by French Cleaners. Kevin Rumig's 748 and Dick McLean's 746 triple served up the deciding blow. John Miller of John's Jokers continued his fine year at the lanes with a 752 triple, but his teach *as beaten by Little Bowl who were led by Al Sanders with a 704 triple. Roy's Boys went to the bull pen this week and brought in John Duckworth who rolled a 236, 322, 301 for an 859 triple to trounce the Tail End team 22 - 8. Dennis Sch- midt of the Tail Ends, had an 820 triple. MONDAY NIGHT LADIES The teams Trouble and Blazers split 4 - 3 this week with a total of five pins between them for three games. Trouble emerged victorious led by Lis Kruspe with a 587 triple. Vi de Haas had a 578 triple to help her Oldtimers to a 5 - 2 victory over Shirl's Girls, Dorothy Bourdeau's 244 single for Shirl's Girls insured the final game. Anne McCartney had a 279 single and 680 triple as her NoNames defeated Joyce's Jets 5 - 2. Joyce Hamilton had a 580 triple for the Jets. It took a 655 triple by Grace Mugford to i obtain a 4 - 3 win for her Auleen's Angela over the Marionettes, Betty Fisher had a 246 single. TUESDAY FARMERS Steve Fuller of tie Timber jacks rolled a 665 triple to help defeat the WooaButcbers 5 - 2 this week, Woy4 Haskell had 4661 triple which waif file deciding factor in Goderlch Hustlers overpowering the Berzerco Bud- dies 5 - 2. A 235 single in the second game by Al Dekker helped the Buddies get two points. Al Webster rolled only two games, but his 448 double for The Country Pals spurred them on to a 7 - 0 trouncing of the Nile team. A 271 single and 712 triple by Jim Harrison also served to help his Hayseeds to.a 7 -0 win over Goderich Lepperds. A 622 triple ;by Rick Young kept the scores close each game. Bob Graham bowled a 617 triple, helping his Orioles to a 5 - 2 win over the Goderich Kids. Steve Johnston rolled a 630 for the Kids. TUESDAY MIXED Mel Dickson, with a 684 triple, and his Pin Pickers, smothered Bell's Angels 7 - 0 despite a 313 single and 755 triple by Walter Bell. Dick McLean had a 271 single and 732 triple for his Sticky Six but they came out on the losing end of a 5 - 2 decision to the Rookies, led by Jack Gilbert with a 674 triple. The Bowled Eagles handed out a 7 - 0 thrashing to the Unpredictables with the help of a 307 single and 734 triple by Diane Sutton. Barb Chapman had a 288 single and 721 triple for Barb's Gang only to see her team defeated with a 4 - 3 split to the Dirty Half Dozen. Manfred Popersnitsch led the Dozen with a 670 triple. A great team effort by Ernies Road House spurred them on to a 7 - 0 win over the Frame Ups despite a 701 triple by Chris Connor. A 671 triple by Allan Fisher also helped give his Unknowns a 7 - 0 decision over the Pin Heads. LADIES WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON The Lions, sparked by a 196 single by Marie Park, came up with a 5 - 2 win over the Running Deers. A 631 triple by Susan Hiusser helped her Deers win. Olive Gilbert rolled a 208 single, and a 525 triple by Janet Rumig helped their Dainty Deers defeat the Happy Hippos 5 - 2. The Monkeys also came up with a 5 - 2 decision over The Tigers as Vi de Haas came through with a 642 triple. The River Rats rolled over the Eager Beavers 7 - 0 as Faye Sheardown rolled a 313 single. The Alley Cats also had a 7 - 0 win over the Cuddly Bears behind a 276 single and 622 triple by Judi Andrews. Diane Leddy of the Bears had a 662 triple but the Cats were too strong. Yvonne Dougherty had a 246 single and 591 triple to lead the Pussy Cats to a 5 - 2 win over the Ponies. V>DAYNtr M 'S 4.663 triple by Larry Eaaex helped give Little Jge's a 7 -0 win over Lakeport Steel, Robert Little had 0.286 single and 637 triple for Lakeport. Culbeita Bakery defeated the Ninuniods - 2. Barry Culbert had a 617 triple for bent's and Jim Keller had a 658 triple for t Nimznrods. Al Sanders rolled a 703 triple for Dirk's Galley but his team was defeated 5 - 2 by C.C.C.B, behind a 654 triple by Ken Scheerer. Alvin's T.V. also came up with a 5 - 2 win over Champion as John Miller Tolled a 696 triple. WEDNESDAY NIGHT MIXED The Falcons, with a 251 single by Del Mitchelmore and a 729 triple by Sonny Moore, handed out a 5 - 2 loss to the Lowly Rollers. Steve Allen with a 665 triple led the Pin Busters to 7 - 0 win over the Crazy Six. A 708 triple by Ken Brownlee kept the games close. Another 7 - 0 trouncing was provided by the Kitchigami Road Runners as they defeated the Fizz Mits. Bob Kelly had a 283 single and 665 triple for the Runners and Dick Eisler and Auleen Thereault rolled a 691 and 672 triple respectively for the Mitts. Cathy Connolly had a 354 single and 695 triple as her Pits defeated the Knockouts 5 - 2. Bruce Carrick had a 734 triple for the Knockouts. Allan Fuller rolled a 234 single as Park Theatre Mustangs came up with a team effort to defeat M & P 7 - 0. THURSDAY MENS Kevin Rumig rolled 314 and 307 singles and an 827 triple for the Six Pack only to be defeated 5 - 2 by Cashway. Carson Milly led Cashway with a 649 triple. The Bombers, behind a 305 single and 746 triple Otto Herrmann, handed out a 7 - 0 loss to Lairds. The Spoilers lived up to their name as they defeated Lakeport 7 - 0. Ted Rowe had a 290 single and 643 triple for the Spoilers and Simon Langlois threw a 692 triple for Lakeport. THURSDAY MIXED The Woodpeckers, with a 504 triple by Don Poag, defeated The Losers 7 - 0. Ray Hartin rolled a 521 for the Losers. The Dizasters also came up with a seven point night over Gummers Bummers. Dennis Jaynes had a 596 triple for Dizasters and Gord Ferguson rolled a 629 for Bummers. The Hot Shots took five points, led by Jack Gilbert's 687 triple over Libby's Beans. Lee Ryan had a 620 triple for the Beans. THURSDAY LADIES The Yo Yo's and Wallbangers fought to a 4 - 3 split this week with the Wallbangers coming out on top. Dianne Scott led the Wallbangers with a 535 triple. The Pin Heads won a 5 - 2 decision over the Alley Cats with Kathleen Bowen rolling a 544 triple for the Pin Heads. Pat Brown of the Alley Cats had a 668 triple. The Night Hawks defeated the Flyers 5 - 2 as Mary Lamb rolled a 553 triple. Marj Moore rolled a 609 and Linda Roger had a 603 for the Flyers.
