Quick: Company Is Coming
Cake
(One pan, no icing cake)
Ingredients:
One-third cup vegetable oil
2 squares Baker's unsweetened chocolate
3/4 cups water
1 cup sugar
1 egg flour
11/4 cups all-purpose
l tsp. salt soda
1/2 tsp. baking
1 tsp. vanilla
1- 6 oz. package semi -sweet chocolate chips
One-third cup chopped nuts in 8" square
Heat oil and Baker's. chocolate squares
cake pan, in 350 degree F. oven for about 4 mins. Add
water, sugar, egg, flour, salt, baking soda and vanilla.
Beat with fork until smooth, about 2 mins. Spread even-
ly in pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts.
Bake at 350 degrees F. for 40 mins• or until cake tester
inserted in centre comes out clean.

Cider Cake
3 cups aI1 purpose flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. whole nutmeg (grated)
1 cup unsalted -butter
11 cups sugar
4 eggs, beaten

Eclair Cake
1 box honey grahams
pkg. instant vanilla pudding
9 oz. carton nondairy whipped topping
2 pkg. semi -sweet chocolate
2 tsp. light syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
11/2 cups icing sugar
1/4 cup milk
Butter a 9"x12" pan and line with whole grahams. Add
31/2 cups milk to pudding mix. Blend in whipped topping.
