salads and dips
Maxine's Dip
1 can (10 oz.) cream of mushroom soup
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese
1/4 cup water
2 pkg. plain gelatin
1/2 cup green onion, chopped
1/2 cup,celery, chopped
2 small cans shrimp
1 cup miracle whip
Heat until smooth the mushroom soup and the cream
cheese. Let cool.
Meanwhile in a small bowl combine the water and
gelatin, then add the onion, celery, shrimp and miracle
whip.
Combine with the cream cheese mixture. Mold over-
night. Great on crackers.
Lime Cottage
Cheese Salad
1 pkg. lime jello
1 cup hot water
1 cup cottage cheese
1/2 cup crushed pineapple
V4 cup chopped walnuts
Dissolve jello in hot water. Cool till
rest of ingredients. Pour into mould.

Pimiento Cheese Biscuits
2 cups buttermilk biscuit mix
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tbsp. chopped pimiento
1/4 tsp. oregano leaves, crushed
1/2 cup cold water
Combine biscuit mix, cheese, pimiento and oregano.
Add water and beat vigorously. Prepare as directed for
drop biscuits.
Bake in preheated 425 degree oven for 8 - 10 minutes or
until lightly browned.
