to serve on a Bicentennial Committee.
Ministry funding will be received by the
Town of Goderich towards Bicentennial
celebrations in 1984. The Town is also
interested in receiving any suggestions
from individuals or groups for various
projects which could be undertaken during
the celebrations in 1984. Please forward

At the October° meeting of the Hospital
Auxiliary, plans were completed for the
Dessert Card Party to be held October 25 at
MacKay Centre. Prizes will be given for
cards and also a door prize.
Interesting reports were given by June
Wallace and Mary Jackson of the activities
of various auxiliaries as reported at
Seaforth Fall Conference.
Volunteers are knitting slippers, mittens
and sweaters for the gift shop - A bake and
craft sale is planned for December 2 in the
Auxiliary Room.
Mrs. Connie Osborn, the special speaker,
explained the work of the Palliative Care
Unit and talked of plans for a special room
for very ill patients.
