Pee Wees defeated The Goderich Legion PeeWees lost the best three out of five series in the W.O.A.A. finals to Hanover. They went down to a 9-3 defeat and came back fighting, but lost the next game 2-1. After losing the first game, Goderich started off their second game with Scott Garrow hitting a single and Andy Orr reaching base on an error, but Garrow was left on third and Orr on second at the end of their half of the first inning. Hanover, on the other hand, had their first two batters walked, and the third reached base on an error. These three runners scored, giving them a 3-0 lead at the pod of the first. The top of the second saw Jason Million and Chris O'Neil walk, followed by doubles by Garrow and Bill Whetstone, scoring three runs for Goderich, but those were all they would get as the Hanover bats went to work, taking a two game lead in the series. The following game was a defensive battle, with Hanover doing their damage in the second inning, scoring two runs. It wasn't until the sixth inning that Goderich got on the scoreboard, with Andy Orr reaching base on an error and eventually making it home. Byron Bowman was on third base, with only one out, but was left there as Goderich was defeated 2-1.
