FR1TZLEY
Percy (Mac) Fritzley of Goderich died in
Alexiandr, Marine and General Hospital on
Monday, September 26 at the age of 81.
He was born in Toronto on August 9, 1902
to Joseph and Ida (Lepard) Fritzley.
He was employed at the Purity Flour Mill
in Goderich and later at Bisset's Dairy.
He was a member of Knox Presbyterian
Church, Goderich.
He is survived by his wife, the former
Aeleen Johnston; two children, Mrs. James
( Linda) Kingsley of Goderich and Joe of
Goderich Township; six grandchildren,
Steven, Kevin and Joey Fritzley and Gerald,
Nancy and Mary Jane Kingsley; three
brothers, Richard, Harry and Jack, all of
Goderich; and three sisters, Mrs. Albert
( Florence) Leonard and Mrs. Ernest
(Grace) Peachey, both of Goderich and
Mrs. William (Pearl) Harmer of Toronto.
He was predeceased by one son, Gerald
and one brother, Eugene.
A funeral service was held at McCallum
Funeral Home in Goderich on Thursday,
September 29 at 2 p.m. The Reverend G.L.
Royal officiated.
Pallbearers were Dale Fritzley, Bill
Fritzley, Bob Leppington, Ray Black, Mike
Drennan and Brian Fitzsimmons.
Flower bearers were Gerald Kingsley,
Fred Fritzley and Frank Bowra.
Interment was in the Maitland Cemetery.

MRS. MARY LOU
McNEIL
Mrs. Mary Lou McNeil of Colborne
Township died in Colborne Township on
Thursday, September 29 at the age of 33 as
the result of a farm accident.
She was born in Goderich on July 7, 1950 to
Ross and Bernice (Johnston) Henry of
Colborne Township.
She was a member of Dungannon United
Church and the Willing Workers group of
that church.
She is survived by her husband, Robert
McNeil; two children, Craig and Shannon,
both at home; her parents, Ross and Ber-
nice Henry; five brothers, Bill of Goderich,
Doug of London, Randy of Goderich and
Donald and Iarry of Colborne Township;
her grandparents, Howard and Ruth
Johnston of Goderich; and her mother and
father-in-law, Clifford and Evelyn McNeil of
Colborne Township.
A funeral service was held at McCallum
Funeral Horne in Goderich on Monday,
October 3 at 2 p.m. The Reverend Robert
Roberts of Dungannon United Church of-
ficiated, assisted by the Reverend Robert
Ball.
Dungannon 4-H Club formed an honor
guard at the funeral home. Pallbearers
were Randy Henry, Iarry Henry, Murray
Johnston, Don McNeil, Neil Sager and Steve
Sager.
interment was in Colborne Cemetery.

Sandra Lynn Mathieson of Goderlch dletl
in Victoria Hospital, London on Friday,
September 30 at the age of nine.
She was born in London on January 15,
1974 to Robert and Lillian (Manderson)
Mathieson.
She is survived by her parents; a brother,
Scott and a sister, Angela, both at home;
and her grandfather, Bud Mathieson.
She was predeceased by one brother,
Timothy; her maternal grandparents,
Frank and Annette Manderson; and her
paternal grandmother, Jean Mathieson.
A private family service was held at the
McCallum Funeral Home in Goderich on
Saturday, October 1. The Reverend Robert
0. Ball of North Street United Church of-
ficiated.
Pallbearers were Robert Mathieson, Bud
Mathieson, Tom Manderson and Robert
Imbeau.
Interment was in the Maitland Cemetery.
CHERYL HOWIE
Cheryl Howie of Delisle, Saskatchewan
died Sunday, September 25 at the age of 16
as the result of a car accident.
She was born in Saskatdon and was at-
tending Delisle Composite School in Grade
11. She enjoyed all sports and was especially
active in swimming.
She is survived by her parents, Jim and
Charlene Howie of Delisle; one sister,
Brenda of Sakatoon; one brother, Brent at
home; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Mrs.
Charlie Stowe of Goderich and Mr. and Mrs.
Bruce Howie of Harrow, Ontario; her great-
grandmother, Mrs. Lena Stowe of Goderich;
aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and a
loving friend, Bob Weninger of Saskatoon.
A funeral service was held Wednesday,
September 28 at 2 p.m. in. Delisle United
Church. The Reverend R. Livingstone of-
ficiated.
Interment was in the Delisle Cemetery.
MRS. FLORENCE
LOUISE STOTHERS
Mrs. Florence Louise Stothers died at
Parkwood Hospital in London on Friday,
September 23 following a lengthy illness at
the age of ; ;:.
She was born in Toronto on March 10,1895
to William H. and Edith H. (Beattie) Sleigh.
A graduate of Harbord Collegiate and
Toronto Normal School, the late Mrs.
Stothers taught at Ryerson Public School in
Toronto. Also on the Ryerson staff was John
Cannon Stothers, a native of Ashfield
Township, whom she married on December
28, 1922. Mr. Stothers became a public
school inspector, first moving to
Bracebridge.
In 1925, Mr. and Mrs. Stothers took up
residence in London where Mr. Stothers was
assistant superintendent of public schools
until his untimely death on September 4,
1938.
The late Mrs. Stothers was very active in
many church groups, including the UCW, in
Colborne St. United Church, London where
she was a faithful member. She was also a
valued member of the IODE, holding office
in many capacities in her chapter, the
Nicholas Wilson, as well as in. the London
Municipal Chapter and the Provincial
Chapter.
Besides her husband, she was
predeceased by her only sister, Mrs. E.
Irene Porter in July of 1974 and a niece in
August of 1966.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs.
Jean E. Carruthers of Goderich; two sons,
Donald W. Stothers and Dr. John B.
Stothers, both of London; seven grand-
children; and one great-grandson.
A funeral service was held at the James A.
Harris Funeral Home in London on Monday,
September 26 at 1:30 p.m. The Reverend
David R. Carrothers of Colborne Street
United Church officiated.
Pallbearers were John, David and
Andrew Carruthers, Geoffrey Grimes, Bob
Clark and Ken Lewis.
Interment was in Forest Lawn Memorial
Gardens, London.
