6:00 p.m. beginning -in September.

Electronic Bingo is held every Wednesday evening at
7:45 p.m. at the Goderich Memorial Arena.

CLUB
The Canoe Club is a social organization for men. Cards
and billiards are the main activities and are enjoyed
by members most days of the week. To jpin'the club, ask
for a application at the club room on the second floor
of the Masonic Temple building on West Street.
The Karate school begins the first week in September
and will run for ten weeks, other ten week courses
will be held throughout the year.
The school is open to men, women, and children over
ten years of age. Classes are held on Monday and
Wednesday evenings from 7:30 - 9:00 p.m. at the Goderich
Township Hall in Holmesville.
DUPLICATE BRIDGE CLUB
The Bridge club meets every Tuesday evening at the Royal
Canadian Legion, games begin at 7:45 p.m. For more
information call Barb Howe at 524-8947.
BETA SIGMA PHI
Any women interested in joining the Beta Sigma Phi are
asked to call Wendy Kent at 524-4437.
GODERICH SQUASH CLUB
HURON ARCHERS
The Huron Archers meet for archery on Wednesday evenings
from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. at the Mini -community centre.

GODERICH ART CLUB
The Art Club paints Wednesday afternoons at Mackay Hall
studios. Art Club meetings are held on the third Friday
of the month. For more information or to join the club
call Gailya MaQuire at 524-2334.
GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY
The Genealogical Society meets at the Assessment Office
on the first Wednesday of the month at 7:30 p.m.
Young people are encouraged to join. Call Alison Lobb
for more information (482-7167).
THE GODERICH BOOK CLUB
The Book Club meets at noon on the second Thursday of
the month at the Library. The Club discusses a previously
chosen book. Please bring a lunch. Call the Library
t 524-9261 for more information.
The Goderich Squash club was formed in September of 1982.
The Club facilities are at the Mini Community Centre on
Cambridge Street. New members are welcome and may gain
use of the Club by either buying a full membership or
a "ten play", which are available at Garb and Gear Sports
Shop on the Square. Further information can be obtained
by calling Jim Hollingworth (524-9511) or Glen Carey
,(524-8464).

HURON COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY
The Historical Society has four general meetings and five
council meetings per year. The membership averages about
two hundred per year. Memberships can be obtained from
the membership convenor, Mrs. John Anderson (262-5283).
The memberships are $4.00 single or couple and you will
receive two newsletters per year.
PUBLIC SKATING
Is held every Sunday afternoon beginning October 9th from
1:00 - 2:30 p.m. Cost is

GODERICH AND DISTRICT AFTER FIVE CLUB
The Goderich and District After Five Club meets once,
a month at the Candlelight Restaurant at 7:30 p.m.
Each month there is a different speaker and a special
feature. The cost is $3.00 per person and includes
coffee and a dessert.
The following dates have been confirmed: September 27,
October 25, November 22 and December 27.
