On Friday, August 28 at 8
p.m. twilight hour of films
will be held at the Barn for
the entire family.
On Saturday a five foot
earthj►all will, be thrown
around by people of all ages
at the Colborne ball diamond
starting at. 3 p.m. Then at 8
p.m there will be a campfire
that will provide songs,,
stunts, and skits. Those who
wish to attend may park at
the 13arnand follow the path
to the campfire area.
On Sunday, August 28
there will be a church ser-
vice and sing -along at the
Barn starting at 11:30 a.m.
Everyone is welcome to
attend and it is an informal
dress occasion.
Earthball activities will
begin again at%2 p.m. at the
bail diamond.

Last year, the Huron
County Farm and Home
Safety Association launched
a program whereby the
Huron County Junior Far-
mers would attempt to
distribute a sign warning of
the possible presence of
deadly gases to all farmers
having either liquid manure
storage or upright silos.
These signs will be installed
at no cost to the farmer.
To date, over 1200 signs
have been distributed.

annual Coiling picnic on
Sunday at the Lions Park at
Point Clark. In conjunction
with the picnic, a bridal
shower was staged for San-
dra Kempton, daughter of
Bill and Janet. The wedding
will take place at the Pine
River United Church Sept-
ember 10.

at Western Fair
The country music fans of
southwestern Ontario will
get a guitar -full of their
favorite music when T G
Sheppard performs at the
Western Fair grandstand on
Tuesday, September 13 with
two shows at 7 and 9 p.m.
T G has done it all ..
guitarist in a :'travelling''
band, promotion man,
production company owner
and recording artist. In the
mid -seventies, Sheppard
topped the country charts
with "Devil in a Bottle",
"Motels and Memories" and
"Solitary Man". He con-
tinued his string of chart -
toppers with "I Feel Like
Loving You Again", "Do
You Want To Go To Heaven"
and his classic rendition of
"Last Cheater's Waltz". His
most recent appearance on
the country charts was with
"War Is' ° Hell '(on the.
Homefront Too) ".
T G, Sheppard in concert is
among the most energetic,
creative and likeable en-
tertainers in country music.
The two shows are free to
fairgoers at 7 and 9 p.m. on
Tuesday, September 13.
