New race . series to start Beginning Thursday even- ing, September 1 at 8:00 p.m., and continuing every Thursday through the season, Hully Gully hosts a special kind of racing. Rac- ing designed specifically for beginners. Racers must be at least five -years -old and can't be over 70 years of age. There are classes for mini-bik dirt bikes, and all-terr to vehicles, both three and four-wheel. The races will be conducted on a safe, well - organized track that's challenging, yet not quite as demanding as traditional Hully Gully racing. Track preparation is kept to an ab- solute minimum in order to keep entry fees down to a low $2 per class, and there will be prizes for first, second and third place in each class. It's a chance for budding racers to learn properly and safely, and still experience the thrill of competition on one of Canada's finest motorsport facilities first hand. There's no admission charge for spectators. Hully Gully is west of Highway 9, between Clinton and Hensall. For informa- tion and registration, phone 262-3318 or 262-5809.
