Balloon
found
TID BITS
Joanne Buchanan
Derek Tiller from the
Huron Church Camp
recently found a balloon in
the woodlot three miles
northeast of Bayfield. The
tag attached to the balloon
explained that it had been
sent by K. Norton, a Grade 5
student at Fargo West
Elementary School in
Goderich's sister city, Bay
City, Michigan.

A notice in this column
awhile ago asking that post
cards be sent to a nine-year-
old boy in Scotland who was
dying of cancer has been
brought to our attention by a
reader who sent two cards to
the address given and then
found out that there was no
such address. She would like
to warn others that the ad-
dress, which was heard on
several radio stations and
appeared in several
newspapers, does not exist.
Stamps are being ripped off
those post cards received
and used for mission work.
