President, Winnifred Girvin, welcomed twelve members and two guests. Roll call was name an agricultural commodity that a province is noted for. Peg Purdon gave a reading from The Good Old Days of Aunt Edith and the Pig Treetment. Donna Snyder introduced Marian Taylor of the sixth of East Wawanosh. She gave a humorous talk of how life on the farm helps keep dairy princesses beautiful with the milk bath, soft water bath, and the mud bath, and a short history of dairy farming as it used to be. She conducted a milk quiz and gave a story on cheese and demonstrated serving cheeses with fruits for spec- ial occasions. She concluded with a display of cooking with milk, cook books and posters - "the faster life gets, the more sense milk makes". Lucky tea cups were Olive Chisholm and Marian Zinn receiving dairy shopping bags. Donna Snyder thanked the dairy princess and presented her with a gift. Pennies for friendship was a penny for every chair in your house, Lunch was serv- ed by hostesses, Willetta McWhinney and Peg Pur - don.
