A sweltering day seemed
the appropriate time for
blistering racing at Hully
Gully's Houseleague Moto
cross races last Saturday.
Hully Gully's races brought
gout riders from all over
Ali' nta in— as—fail as Burl-
ington,
ington, Hamilton, Chatham,
Sarnia, Woodstock and Lon-
don. Local riders, were well
represented as well.
Various classes par-
ticipated the Little "Mini -
Diggers" right up to the Old-
timers class.
Something relatively new
was the Beginner's Cla , a
special class open to piople
who have never raced
before or have raced very lit-
tle.
ittle. The beginner's class only
requires a "dirt -type"
motorcycle, and the
necessary pr otec'13ve . gear
like helmet, gloves, boots
and eye protection. The only
other requirement is a sense
of adventure.
Even the beginners' class
has it's Share of excitement '
for the spectator, and the
beginner racers will tell you
it has more than its share for
them.
