The bride was escorted to
the altar by her parents. She
wore a delicate chiffon gown
with a high Victorian
neckline accented by a ruffl-
ed V trimmed with em-
broidery and chantilly lace
as were the cape sleeves.
Matching Chantilly lace
trimmed the soft full chiffon
skirt. A bridal hat and waltz
length silk illusion veil com-
pleted the bride's ensemble.
She carried a cascade of hot
pink roses, light pink
gardenias and miniature
pink carnations with trailing
ivy.
Catherine Brindley, niece
of the bride, was flowergirl.
She wore a miniature copy of
the, bride's gown and carried
a smaller version of the
bride's bouquet. A wreath of
baby roses was worn in her
hair.

of the groom, was dressed
identically to the groom with
a miniature matching
boutonniere.
Ron Taylor, a friend of the
groom, was best man and he
was attired identically to the
groom.
Ushers were Ken
Brindley, brother of the
groom and Matthew
Buchanan, brother of the
bride. All were dressed iden-

red rose boutonnieres.
A dinner and reception
were held at Saltford Valley
Hall where the bride's uncle,

the evening.

same attire as the groom's
attendants and the bride's
mother in a floor -length
gown with Alencon lace
bodice, Victorian neckline,
cape sleeves, cummerbund
waist and softly gathered
skirt in deep pink taffeta,
and a pink rose corsage.
The groom's mother

sang "The Rose", which the
guests enjoyed very much.
Also at this time, Evelyn
and Albert G. Vanderburgh,
grandparents of the bride,
were cerebrating their 52nd
