Amanda's parents can pick up her cheque for $7 at the Signal -Star office on Bayfield Road anytime from Monday to Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Collector car event to beheld in London London '83, the second an- nual collector car event con- sisting of an auto auction, show and flea market, ,pro- pro- mises to be the largest event of its kind in Western On- tario this year Itwillbeheld This weekend at the Vfeitern Fairgrounds: Over 300 rare, exotic and special interest cars dated from 1910 to 1983 will be on show and upfor public auc- tion during the weekend. The list includes antique automobiles such as the Model A and Model T, Packard, LaSalle, Paige, V12 Cadillac and Auburn. Some automobiles are being valued at close to $100,000. There will be a selection of sports ears like Lamborgini, Pantera and Porsche and the ever exciting variety of coupes, coaches and roadsters. There could quite possibly be cars there that many have never seen before. The car show, hosted by the London Car Club, will have hot rods, show vans, customized and antique cars, Corvettes, T -Birds and pick-ups, all competing for the Labatt's awards. There will be acres of flea market vendors with tons of old auto parts, new and used accessories, tools and literature for sale. The show will run from Friday at 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. with the Grand Auto Auction starting at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
