Lucknow on the weekend to
take in the Jamboree cele-
brations.
Many from this area who
purchased the album or
cassette, People Like You,
through Brookside School or
the local Kinettes, will be
pleased to know the young
lad who performed the words
and music received a special

Mro and Mrs. Duncan Scott Smith
Couple wed
in St. George's
St. George's Anglican
Church, Goderich was the
scene of a pretty wedding on
May 14 when Susan
Elizabeth More of Goderich
was united in marriage with
Duncan Scott Smith of
Toronto.
The bride is the daughter
of Mrs. Norah More of
Goderich and the late John
A. More. The groom's
parents are Mrs. Rose Marie
Geiling of Toronto and Mr.
Don C. Smith of Vancouver,
B.C.
The Reverend Robert J.
Crocker officiated at the
ceremony.
The bride was radiant in a
traditional wedding gown of
chiffon and delicate re -
embroidered lace falling into
chapel train. She carried a
cascade of red roses, white
carnations, stephanotis and
ivy.
Susan was given in
marriage by her mother.
Jennifer More of
Etobicoke was her sister's
maid of honor. She was
gowned in a floor -length
dress of huckleberry chiffon
and carried a nosegay of
matching carnations and
white daisies.
Bridesmaids were Caryn
Mann of Wingham, cousin of
the bride and Heather
Thomson of Scarborough,
friend of the bride. They
were gowned in a soft rose
tone, identical to the maid of
honor.
Groomsman was Mr. Phil
Wright' of Toronto, friend'of
the groom and the guests
were ushered into the church
by Chris Smith 'of Kingston,
brother of the groom and
David More of Goderich,
brother of the bride.
The groom and his at-
tendants were attired in gray
tuxedos.
Wedding music was
supplied by Mr. Lorne
Dotterer.
Following the wedding
ceremony, a reception was
held at the Goderich Legion
Hall. The bride's mother
received guests wearing a
long gown of stone blue
chiffon with a corsage of
pink carnations. The
groom's mother assisted,
wearing a floor -length gown
of pale blue . chiffon with a
corsage of pink rosebuds.
For a wedding trip to
California, British Columbia
and the East Coast, the bride
changed to Sasoon suit of
printed silk with white
jacket, white accessories
and a corsage of red roses.
Following the rehearsal,
the groom's parents en-
tertained at a rehearsal
party at the Bedford Hotel.
Prior to her marriage, the
bride was feted at a
miscellaneous shower given
by Miss Heather Thomson of
Scarborough; a family
shower given by Mrs.
Charles Smith of Simcoe; a
party and presentation by
the nursing staff of Toronto
East General' Hospital and a
luncheon shower given by
Mrs. James Donnelly of
Goderich.
Upon their return, Mr. and
Mrs. Smith will reside at 377
Ridelle Ave., Apt. 821,
Toronto.

Manor's annual bazaar and
tea this year will be held on
November 5. Be sure to

On these warm summer
days, the residents of the
Manor have been sitting out-
doors enjoying the fresh air
and sunshine instead of
working at crafts and
ceramics. We will get back
to work in September.
Last but not least, the
staff, residents and
volunteers of Maitland
Manor wish to give a hearty
welcome to their new ad-
ministrator, Gary Westgar-
th. Gary and his wife and two
