Sunday was a beautiful, -
hot, seamy day for golfing at
the Sunset and no one en-
joyed it more than the

Baechler, Stan Connelly,
Bob McDougall and Mike
Drennan. Low gross winner
for the day was Stan Con-

It has been an active and
exciting week for the Sunset
members. On Tuesday,
Men's Night was held. Tony
Bedard was the low gross
winner, while John McGuire
won low net.

The Excitement continued

Graham. Mary Lynn Telford
won the longest drive for the
day.
Thursday night was
Ladies' Night at the Sunset.
On first flight, the low gross
winner was Joyce Bolton.
Chris Reeve and Rosemary
Armstrong were low gross
and low net winner,
respectively on second
flight, while on third flight
Joyce Scott won low net and
Dorothy Bogie low gross.
Jeanette Dutot, Gloria Burt,
Velma Haylow, Joan Barrie
and Ruth Geurts were fourth
flight winners.
The week ended with the
Listowel Couples Tour-
nament on Saturday. Low
gross winners were Tony and
Della Bedard, while Paul
and Shirley Baechler held

Goderich then tied the game in its half of
the fifth as Allis nailed a one -out single,
stole second and third and scored on an

Kincardine won the game with a single
run in the top of the eighth innings as
Nurton singled, stole second and scored on
a single by MacKean.
Bowman led Goderich offensivelywith
two hits in four at bats. Ian Brooks led the
Kincardine seven -hit attack with three hits
in four trips to the nlatp.
Goderich also recorded two wins in
league action hammering Clinton 21-2 and
defeating Dashwood 12-3. In the Clinton
game, Scott Garrow and Allis each belted
three hits and scored three runs apiece to
pace the 21 -run 11 -hit Goderich attack.
In the other game, Byron Bowman went
three -for -three at the plate with two single
• and a double and scored three runs to lead
Goderich to a 12-3 win over Dashwood.
This week the Legion Peewees return to
action with a league game against Clinton
at Agriculture Park beginning at 6 p.m. On
Thursday they will play in Seaforth.
