The month of June began
with the Sunset hosting
Ladies' Night. On first flight,
the low gross winner was
Joyce Bolton.

Armstrong, while Ellen Con-
nelly and Thora McCabe tied

The Ausable-Bayfield Con-
servation Authority and the
Grand Bend Chamber of
Commerce are sponsoring
the-Ausable River Marathon
on Sunday, June 19.
The race is 13 kms long
and will begin at the Lamb -
ton Rd. No. 5 bridge where it
crosses over the Ausable
Rive . e finish will be in
own Grand Bend.
Registr tion will take
place on t e day of the race
?between 9 and 10:30 a.m.
Nine different Glasses are
included. Specifications and
regulations are available

the big days in Seaforth.
During this weekend,
several thousand par-
ticipants and spectators are
expected at the Lake Huron
Sportsfest hosted by Seafor-

There were two -games last
Wednesday in the Squirt
House League.
In the first game the
unbeaten Raiders crushed
the Vikings, 3-0. High ,scor-
ing Trisha Rumig again
scored twice to bring her tal-
ly to six goals so far this
season. Right back, Colin
Beier added a single goal.

Bombers won their first
game of the season, beating
the Giants, 1-0. Fiery inside -
