Anne Hachtel, mayor of
Bay City, Michigan
(Goderich's sister city), has
been appointed manager of
the Bay County Convention
and Visitors Bureau. This
bureau was founded in 1977
to help improve the county's
econoinic base by furthering
the development of tourism,
meetings and conventions in
the area.

November, both she and the
bureau' agree that her new

by a resignation from the

May be illegally charging for
building permits. County
