This year the Klompen Feest Committee is offering
visitors to the 1983 festivities something special - the
chance to wit- a trip for two to Holland aboard KLM Royal
Dutch Airlines, through a special draw.
Holland offers tourists a wide spectrum of sights and ac-
tivities to satisfy every need and desire.
One big advantage to travelling in Holland is its small
intimate size. You can drive across the country from east
to west in less than two hours, or travel from the north to
the south in less than three.
Water Fun
Because one-third of Holland is below sea level, water
plays a big part in Holland's tourism. Seaside resorts in
Scheveningen, Noordwijk-aan-Zeeand Zandvoort are all
within close proximity of Amsterdam, the Hague or
Rotterdam and all provide excellent recreational
facilities such as golf courses, camping grounds and
boating areas.
Kagerplassen, Braassemermeer, Westeinder Plas, and
Loosdrechtse. Plassen are lakes that are located near
Amsterdam and are ideal for water sports and recreation.
