On the question of possible OHIP fee increases, Peter- son said, "It's the Ministry's own legal opinion that these fees cannot be increased beyond the five percent level. If the Minister at- tempts to increase OHIP fees beyond five percent, I will take the government to court on the question. The Liberal Opposition will fight any increase in premiums." Women's Minister The announcement in the Throne Speech that the government is to appoint a minister to be in charge of "women's issues" drew mix- ed reactions.
