The club has been
:negotiating 'with the
telephone company to have
the bells so they can be heard
in the hall, but the company
has assured that the 'work
will proceed.
A mini -lottery is set up
now and members are
selling the tickets. Lion
Eldon Chamney is in charge
of ticket -sales. Only a limited
number of tickets have been
printed so every ticket •
holder will have 26chances

Auburn minor ball was held
on Tuesday, April 19 with a
good attendance. It was
decided to have a pre-
registration day on Satur-
day, April 30 at the Com-
munity Centre and Library
between 2 - 5. This is so the

The Auburn Booster Club
met last. Tuesday evening at
the home of Mrs. Ross Daer.
She presided for the business
meeting which followed.
The members decided ta,
paint the playground and
swings , at • the playground.
They algndecided to sponsor
another card party for the
young folk in.the community.
It will be held on Thursday
evening, April 28at 7 p.m.
The Booster Club is going
to hold a flea market and
bake sale on Saturday, June
18. If weather permits, it. will
be held on the playground
but if it rains it will be moved
into the hall. If anyone
wishes to renetable space at
$5 each, please contact Mrs.
Ross Daer or Miss Lorie

to assist
bike-a-thon
the April meeting of the
Circle City C.B. Club was
held on April 10 in the
Recreation Centre Board
Room on McDonald Street.
There was a favourable tur-
nout of members and guests.
The secretary's report was
read by Rice Krispies,
adopted by Graveyarder and
seconded by L'il Rascal. The
treasurer's report was read
by Modular 4, adopted by
Roadmaster and seconded
by Broncobuster.
The Social Director, Bron-
cobuster, informed
members that five children
took part in the Easter Egg
Hunt that was held last April
3 at Harbour Park.
There will be a pro-
gressive euchre party on
Monday, April 18.
Bear in mind that a car
rally will be held on May 15,
which will cover approx-
imately 46 miles. The star-
ting time is 2 p.m. at Knox
Church and the car entry fee
is five dollars.
A letter was received from
the Kinsmen and Kinette
Clubs of Goderich asking for
assistance in monitoring the
upcoming bike-a-thon for
cancer which will be held on
May 1, at 2 p.mstarting at
the Suncoast Mall. Green
Ranger moved and Road-
-master -seconded that the
club again take part in this
worthwhile project. The
saine route will be followed
as last year. Ali members
are encouraged to be at the
Suncoast Mall at 1230 p,m.
