I cross the highway atleast four times a day. I have not seen the many accidents that, I am told, have occurred along this roadway but I have seen many, many near -misses. Rittinger Paper boys need consideration Dear Editor; I read a letter in the Toron- to Star. This is part of it and I would like to add to it. "My son has a paper route. I wonder if his customers realize that he has to pay for the papers, whether they col- lect from the customers or not. When the kids try to col- lect, they are often told, "Sorry we don't have the money, come back next Vi 1 11 pay you next time you come", or "you were just here, I have paid you." They have to pay their telephone, hydro and gas bill on time, why can't they pay their paper boy. Do they know he is up every morning at 6, so they can read their paper for breakfast. Sometimes my son has to go back 5 and 6 times before he collects. Finding people at nome is hard enough, but getting them to pay is another story. A paper route is a learning experience but kids soon learn how adults shirk their responsibility. God bless the nice ones who always pay, on time and the kind-hearted customers who tip. Thank you M. The 32 year-old poet recited his own work and sang songs in order to inspire the students to write poetry. Publicized reports would seem to indicate that it has. I believe that there should be a moratorium declared on that part of the Constitution that &Ws &1swith individuals who are a menace to society, and they should be judged according to existing laws that were in force prior to the introduction of the Con- stitution.
