Love, Mark Gang makes , • recipes By Agnes Van Osch The Kingsbridge Apple Dumpling' Gang held their fifth meeting on March 29; at the home of Hannie Scott. The twelve members answered the roll call, Name a Chinese, Japanese, East or West Indian dish you have . had? . The members were then divided into three groups to make the recipes for this meeting. The leaders discussed the food customs of the Chinese, Japanese, East and West Indians. • Members enjoyed sampl- ing the food which the S/' had made including Ginger- bread, Kima, Peanut Punch and Mint tea. Dance executive named The final night for the Goderich Square Dancing Club 1982-83 season was held Tuesday, March 29 at G.D.C.I. The president, Don. Stew,rt, welcomed the four squares of dancers and in- vited them to enjoy the even- ing of dancing which was in- terspersed with skits, readings and singing. The special spot dances were won by Stan Paquette, Lois McGill, Mary Grigg and Stan Doherty. • Leonard Reid won the prize for the birth- day nearest to the 29th. The graduates, Sally and Don MacEwen, Cindy Fisher, Mary Grigg and Lorna and Gordon Johnston received their diplomas and the, group expressed en- couragement to them to keep dancing. The 1983-84 executive was announced: honorary presidents, Glen and Doris Patterson; past presidents, Don and Irla Stewart; presidents, Heinz and Wendy Hoernig; vice-president, Jack and Evelyn Seaman; secretary4reasurer, Stan and Betty Bodaly; publicity, Don and Irla ' Stewart; refreshments, Joan Hibbert; and lunch committee, Bill and Marlene Black. Stan McIlwain informed the club of the SWOSDA event April 23 at St. Marys with tickets available from Marlene Black. The hall was interestingly decorated by Betty 13odaly and her committee.
