Recreation meeting was held • in Colborne Township Hall • Monday, April 4 at 8 p.m. with an attendance of seven interested •members. • President Reg Riehl chaired the meeting which opened with •the reading of the minutes of the last meeting. • A discussion on softball was held. This sport has 'every indication of being a success this year with Gordon Riley of Dungannon in charge and excellent coaches and bail diamonds to play on. • Registration for T -ball and softball will be through the public school with same tobe completed by Friday, April • 15. Swimming for the children will be a summer project and registration will be in June, hopefully through the school. Business being concluded, the meeting was adjourned. Those present enjoyed a lunch of tea and donuts while they discussed recreation for the boys and girls.
