PROGRAMS
Bert & Ernie Club
The Bert & Ernie Club is a recreational program
for children 3 to 6 years of age. Emphasis is
on fun, .learning and social interaction. The
children will have an opportunity to participate
in a well planned program of activities which
include: Arts & Crafts, songs & games, rhythms,
story telling, theme programs, swimming and
special outings.
CHILDREN MUST:
1) Be toilet ttained
2) Wear play clothes
3) Be 3 to 6 Years of age
4) Be picked up at 11:45 a.m. and' 3:45 p.m.
SESSIONS start the week of June 27, 1983.
There will be 8 one week sessions.
Registrations are limited on a first
come first served basis.
COST: $20.00/session
Mini -Community Centre, 376 Cambridge St
Monday to Friday
Mornings - 9:00 a.m. to 11:45 p.m.
Afternoons - 1:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
Registrations will be held prior to each session. Please be .sure to pre -register
at the Recreation Office.
Summer Special Events

The philosophy of the Department is to provide a recreational and fun - filled
summer of play for the children of Goderich. Leaders, well trained in presenting.
a diversified program, and hopefully meeting the needs of the children will be
available at various sites. Children participate in crafts, swimming,. sports,
games, trips, cultural activities and have the.opportunity to meet new children.
A complete flyer of events and information will be circulated through the schools
prior to the end of June. The program begins the week of July 4 and will run until
August 19.
This program is open to mentally.,and physically disabled, deaf and blind children.
Additional leaders will be available to work with these children on a low ratio
basis.. If you wish to register, please contact the Recreation Department.
