New Persons in Christ was
the theme of the World Day
of Prayerservice held last
Friday afternoon in the
Auburn Missionary Chapel.
This prayer service was
written. by Christian Women
in the Caribbean. Mrs. Dave
Thiessen the .leader,
welcomed all and Mrs. Lloyd
Barth and Miss Elaine Snell
were the ushers and gave out
the programs.

Mcllwain of Gibbons Street,
Goderich on Sunday af-

Frank and his wife Eva

welcomed the surprise
guests. Assisted by their
granddaughter Geri Lynn
and a few special friends, the
Mcllwains entertained the
guests and served tea,
coffee, birthday cake and ice
cream while mingling and
chatting and renewing
acquaintances.
Frank and Eva McIlwain
are well-known in the
district, having operated the
Carlow store for many years
before retiring to Goderich.
