the first annual women's
volleyball tournament on the
weekend.

Elevator in the round-robin
final to claim the cham-
pionship while Clinton Was
declared • the consolation
winner after its victory over
Goderich. Fifteen women's
softball and slopitch teams
from two leagues par-
ticipated in the first
volleyball tournament.
The teams played a round
robin format in three
divisions. The winners of the
divisions, Goderich
Elevator, Blyth and Clinton,
earned a berth in the three -
team round robin final. Sifto
Salt, Arts Landscaping and
Benmitler finished second in
division play.
