the church for the month of
February.
It was announced that
Family night would be held
in February with the
Members of Unit I setting up
tables and looking after the
program. They also
discussed items for the craft
table at the Booster Club
bazaar. Mrs. Bean asked the
members to remember the
shut-ins in 1983. Mrs. Ross
Dobie and Mrs. Allan Craig
will be in charge of the
February meeting.
The meeting then became
a work meeting with
members, pressing marking
and cutting pieces of cotton
material to make a quilt.
This quilt will be quilted at
the General meeting later in
January. The meeting closed
with lunch served by Mts.
Maurice Bean assisted by
Mrs. Emerson Rodger.
Unit 2 of the Knox UCW
met on January 11 at the
home of Mrs. Donald Haines.
Mrs. Ernest Durnin
welcomed everyone and
opened the meeting with a
sing -song of favorite hymns.
The devotional period was
taken by Mrs. Tom Jardin
and Mrs. Donald Haines. It
was given in dialogue on the
Ten Commandments Mrs.
Haines gave the comments
and Mrs. Jardin sang a solo.

financial statement. Three
members offered to write to
the shut-in members during
the month. Unit 2 will serve
cookies and Freshie to the
junior choir before practice
on Mondays in January,. Unit
2 will serve dinner to the
Lions club on February 2nd.

WHAT you need is,an application form available
at any Licence issuing office,,Aprbof of insurance,
ownership permit and the retuired fee.. Fees are
$4 amonth based on your birth month. See table
below.
WHERE? You can renew'at any licence issuing
office in your area. Check the sticker you receive
to ensure it correctly reflects your birth month.
YOU are responsible for having a new validation
sticker by February 28. The sticker goes an the
upper right-hand corner of the rear plate on
passenger cars; the upper right-hand corner on
the front plate of commercial vehicles. If you sell
your vehicle, remove the plates and attach them
to your new vehicle.
