The Goderich Figure
Skating Club held its senior
club competition trophy day
on Saturday, January 8.
Winner of the Candlelight
trophy for the novice free
style competition was Susan
Bell. Second place went to
Anglea Larder while Dori
Ann MacLennan placed
third.
The Domtar trophy was
presented to Melissa Hruden
for her winning performance
in the intermediate free style
competition. Jackie
Crawford came in second
and Emma Hollingworth
came in third.
Both the Champion trophy
for the senior free style
competition and the Howes
Memorial trophy for the
open senior free style
competition went to Susan
Cook. Carol Dechert and
Aveleigh Cook took second
and third place respectively
in the senior category while
Aveleigh Cook and Lisa
Fisher were the runners-up
in the open senior com-
petition.
Shannon McNeil received
the Rean trophy for placing
first in the junior free style
event.
In the novice dance
competition, Allison Powell
and Maureen Scott were
presented with the Jeffery
trophy. Angela Larder and
Teresa Ferguson took
second place while Jackie
Crawford and Melissa
Hruden took third. •
The Ormandy trophy for
the best junior dance per-
formance was won by John
and Melissa Hruden while
Roxanne Warr and Sonya
McCallum came m second..

their first place finish in the
junior pairs ;free style
competition.

Raithby trophy 'for the best

pairs free style competition.
Emma Hollingworth and

In the mixed pairs free
style competition, John and
Melissa Widen took home
the Woodard plaque.
