Again we are shown that our Lord has provided and blessed us well. On November 15 the P.T.A. of the Clinton & District Christian School hosted a banquet for members in the gym of the school. About 100 enjoyed the roast beef dinner served by the P.T.A. Banquet Commit- tee. After the meal Cara Boonstra, Harmony Ludweg, Marion Visser and Angela Londag entertained in song. At 8 P.M. the annual meeting began at which the teaching staff went to their classrooms and showed the parents their teaching technique • by addressing them as students. Principal Ralph Schurr- man spoke on the Book of Daniel where the king of Babylon took the young peo- ple to be ,educated for three years in his court in order to convert them. During the business por- tion of the meeting two new members were elected to the board. They are Marg Buff- inga and Stephanie Sehilthuis. The Board pro- posed to donate an overhead projector and several new maps for geography and a good used piano to the school, this was apprOvect by the members. Does anyone know where we could get a good used piano? Also the retiring members of the Banquet Committee were presented with a plant and thanked for the many years of service. The evening proved to be very enjoyable by those who attended.
