The draw was held Spetember w 11.1 Mr. McFarlane gets a weekend for two in the world famous Waldorf-Astoria' Hotel in New York City including continental breakfast, $100 spending money, return air fare from Toronto to New. York, two orchestra seats to a Broadway musical and two orchestra seats to a `Broadway comedy or drama. The "Subscriber Lucky Draw" was also held on September 11 with Stan Williamson of London winning two subscriptions to the 1983 season at Huron Country Playhouse. +++ And speaking of the Playhouse, plays.now under consideration, for the•up- coming season are: On Golden Pond, Bedroom Farce, Life with Father, A Murder is Announced, The Passion of Dracula, Monkey Shines, The Dining Room, How the Other Half Loves and SouthPacific. Of these nine, the final five plays for the 1983 season will be chosen. +++ Mrs. Ed Stiles of Goderich is the winner of an afghan in the Maitland Manor draw. Enter parade float 'Robertson Round -up This year Robertson en- tered a float in the annual Santa Claus parade. The theme of the float was "The True Meaning of Christ- mas". We would like to thank Debbie Doak, Tammie Allen, Dale Erb, Ron Todgham,, Mark Stokes and Heather -Larsen Tot participating in the parade.
