There was lots of action around both nets when the Goderich
Kinsmen Club took on the CKNX Try Hards for a benefit hockey
game Saturday night. The two teams battled their way to an 8-8 tie
with proceeds going toward the purchase of a new sound system for

Hockey League action
Monday, November 22,
O'Briens got by Garb and
Gear with a 6-4 margin.
Dennis Lassaline scored two
goals for O'Briens, one late
in the third period which put
it away for the win.
In the other game the
same night, 15 goals were
scored as Sunset defeated
Ultramar 10-5. Jim Farrish
had a hat -trick and added
one assist to lead Sunset's
offensive drive.
Terry Schoemaker scored
two goals to lead Garb and
Gear to a 6-2 win over Clere-
Vu in action on Sunday,
November 28.

Snowmobile Show to be heid
The second annual
Western Ontario
Snowmobile Show takes
place this weekend,
December 3, 4 and 5 at Hully
Gully near Varna.
The weekend features
where to, how to, and when
to go snowmobiling in
Western Ontario. Northern
resorts will be on hand with
special weekend and week-
day packages on trails, ac-
commodations and food.
There will be a
snowmobile theatre with
continuous movies on trail
riding, safety and racing.
Local snowmobile clubs and
associations will also be in
attendance to explain their
winter activities and pro-
grams.

Atlas Rams nipped past the
Blyth Bears 2 - 1 with Dan
Keffer's late goal and the
Clinton Warriors beat the
League Team 2 - 0. Lakelet
Hornets downed Maitland
Dirt Riders 5 - 0 with Calvin
Quipp getting four points on
