He was born in Ashfield Township on September 17, 1895 to Thomas and Margaret (Sproul) McIntyre. Mr. McIntyre lived most of his life in Colborne Township ,ire -he�if•• ed. until he rettue&ttoilvdelettr1965. He was a member of Victoria Street United Church, Goderich. Mr. McIntyre was predeceased by his first wife, the former Flora Potter on May 10, 1962; a son, Russell in 1938; and a brother, Dick in 1959. He is survived by his second wife, the former Jessie Johnston; three sisters, Mrs. George (Laura) Pollock, Mrs. Tom (Pearl) Dickson and Mrs. Robert (Myrtle) Fowler all of Goderich; and two brothers, Warner and Harvey both of Goderich. A funeral service was held. at Stiles Funeral Home, Goderich on Thursday, November 25 at 2 p.m. The Reverend John D.M. Wood officiated. Interment was in Colborne Cemetery. Pallbearers were Allan Dickson, Cecil Pollock, Robert Fowler, Cliff Kilpatrick, Ray Barker and Carmen Pollock. MRS. JANET MACKIE ERVINE Mrs. Janet Mackie Ervine of 161 Wellington Street South, Goderich, died Tuesday, November 23 at University Hospital, London at the age of 82. She was born in Dysart, Kirkcaldy, Scotland on April 24, 1900 to John and Hettie (MacKie) Fagan. Mrs. Ervine lived in Toronto until moving to Goderich in 1937. She was an adherent of St. George's Anglican 'Church, Goderich. She was predeceased by her husband, Samuel OBITUARIES Edward Ervine in 1963; one daughter in infancy; and three brothers. She is survived by her children, Mrs. David (Hettie (Rae))Dryburgh of Car- noustie, Scotland, William John of Kingston, Samuel Robert, both of Goderich; two sisters, Miss Alison Fagan of Petrolia and Mrs. Peter (Jean) Brown of Burnt 'Island, Scotland; and five grandchildren. A funeral service was held at Stiles Funeral Home, Goderich on Friday, November 26 at 1 p.m. The Reverend Robert J. Crocker officiated. Interment was in Maitland Cemetery, Goderich. Pallbearers were Fred Schuman, Don Phares, Bill Lowry and Michael Crane. JOHN IMANSE John Imanse of R.R. 1 Varna died in South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Satur- day, November 27 in his 82nd year. He was predeceased by his wife, Cornelia D. Schalk in 1973; and t,vo brothers and two sisters. He is survived by ten children, Mrs. Gertie Penninga of Exeter, Frank of R.R. 1 Varna, Johnny of .R.R. 3 Brucefield, Mrs. Abraham (Janice) * wi4i vet:.. of Sarnia, Mrs. Robert (Susanna) Spier of R.R. 1 Varna, Andrew of Hensall, Peter of R.R. 3 Goderich, John of R.R. 1 Varna, Mrs. John (Jo -Anne) Forestell of Dunville and Darlene of Exeter; one brother and one sister both in Holland; 21 grandchildren and one great- grandchild. Visitation was at the Bonthron Chapel of Michael P. O'Connor Funeral Homes, 118 King. Street, Hensall, until Tuesday, November 30 when a funeral service was held at the Exeter Christian Reformed Church at 2 p.m. The Reverend Bernard De Jonge officiated. Interment was in Baird's Cemetery.
