the son of Barry and Betty
McDonagh of Lucknow.
The Reverend Warren
McDougall of Lucknow of-
ficiated at the double ring
ceremony and the music was
provided by the organist
Anne Pritchard. The soloist
was Gerry McWaters. She
sang, "The Wedding Song",
"The Wedding" anc( "Walk
Hand in Hand". 1
The bride was, given in
marriage by her parents.
She wore a long white wed-
ding gown of French lace
-with long ruffled train, a
,. sweetheart neckline and
long sheer sleeves. Her hat
matched her ' dress with an
array of pearls enhan ing
both hat and dress: She ar-
ried a bouquet of white
gardenias, mauve roses, and
white, pink and mauve
rosebuds. '
Matron of honor was Cathy
MacKinnon of Holyrood,
sister of the groom. She wore
a floor -length gown of mauve
nyashigy satin with high
neckline with ruffle and a
pleated bodice. She carried a
bouquet of :silk mauve roses
and white gardenias with
pink _ lilies and mauve
blossoms and'wore matching
flowers in her hair. •
Bridesmaids were Sherry
• Richmond, friend of the
bride, Corrine Lockhart,.
sister-in-law_ of the bride,
Linda Mclfldters, sister of
the groom and Sheri
Lockhart, niece of the bride.
They were gowned the same
as the metrr'n of honor and
carried the same bouquets.
The flowergirl was Sondra
Lockhart of Belleville, niece
of the bride. She wore a long
mauve gown, matching the
bridesmaids', with lace dain-
tily showing it off. She car-
ried a white basket with silk
flowers matching the bride's
bouquet.
Ringbearer was Michael
McWaters of Walkerton,
nephew of the groom. He
carried a square shaped
white satin pillow with
mauve flowers matching the
bride's bouquet.
Groomsman was Dave
'MacKinnon of Holyrood,
brother-in-la'w of the groom:

Guests were ushered into
the church by Mike
McDonagh, brother of the.
groom, Bob Lockhart,
brother of the bride, Ron

tailored black tuxedo with
grey vest and grey and black
ascot tie with a white
gardenia boutonniere. His
attendants wore light grey
tuxedos and white gardenia
boutonnieres.

ceremony, a reception was
held at the Lucknow Com-
munity Centre.
The . bride's mother
greeted guests wearing a
street -length burgundy
polyester crepe dress with a
corsage of white gardenias
with dusty pink, burgundy
and white rosebuds.

Restaurant in Lucknow; and

An old well, which had

Montreal Street near the
public library in the early
days when there was a hotel
in that neighbourhood, caved
in on Tuesday last and the
town employees have filled it

skating rink, made a mis-
step and from the fall was
rendered unconscious.
Fourteen stitches were
required to close the wound
in his temple.

the past 35 years, Miss Rose
A. Aitken will retire .as
librarian December 14.
Fourteen building permits
for work estimated to cost
$22,700 were issued during
October by E.H. Jessop,
Goderich building inspector.
This brought the total
number of permits issued in
the first 10 months of the
year to 134 with a total value
of $194,149.
