Couple celebrate 40th anniversary
Congratulations to Mr. and
Mrs. Arthur Masked on their
40th wedding anniversary,
November 21. Florence and
- Art enjoyed a trip to the city
over the weekend where they
were entertained by
relatives and received many
good wishes by relatives and
friends „in the district. We
wish them many more happy
years together.
This Saturday, November
27 is the Santa Claus Parade
in Goderich and Colborne
Central School will be en-
tering a float. Watch for it
and give them a hearty
applause. •
Guests with Mr. and Mrs.
Rick Bisset this week are
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Miklos of
Wrentham, Alberta. Jim was
a winner at the Royal Winter
Fair in Toronto this year. He
won the Pedigreed Seed
Award for. wheat. He also
won over all the other grain
contestants to become the
"World Wheat King." This is
the first time that any
competitor won both awards
in the same year and this is
the first time that Jim enterd
in the Royal Winter Fair.

Former resident dies at 86
LOUISE GU1TARD
Louise Guitard, formerly
of Goderich, died November
15 at Toronto in her 87th
year.
She is survived by one
daughter, Mrs. Leo (Evelyn)
Arinellini and one son, Leo of
North Bay; 11 grand-
children; and 20 great-
grandchildren.
She was predeceased by
her husband, Donard
Guitard; daughter, Eva
Guitard and her daughter,
Mrs. Lou (Vi) Cundari
