Local figure skating club hosts
Interclub Group coaches' clinic
On Sunday, November 7
the Goderich Figure Skating
Club was the host for the In-
terclub Figure Skating
Group coaches clinic.
Skaters were present from
Seaforth, St. Marys, Clinton,
Listowel, Mitchell and Strat-
ford and Goderich.
The coaches are
volunteers who help the pro-
fessional coaches in their
respective clubs. Most of
these coaches are still taking
lessons to improve
themselves and they still
find the time to help the
younger skaters. The Figure
Skating Clubs could not func-
tion very well without the
help of these many
volunteers.
The volunteer coaches
from Goderich were Susan
Cook, Nancy Woodard, John
Hruden, Devin Horton, Deb-
bie Horton, Sonya Mc-
Callum, Jennifer Huyck,
Maureen Scott, Allison
Powell, Julie Culbert,
Heather Murray and Kim
Williams.
The Goderich coaches help
on Wednesday and Saturday.
The other coaches of the club
who help coach but did not
attend the clinic are Carol
and Karen Dechert,,
Aveleigh Cook, Anne Allan,
