Sunset Golf Club honored several ladies for individual effort over the golf season. The
winners included; Pat Dockstader and Marilyn Graham, who finished second in the two -
ball event; Rosemary Armstrong, who along with Joyce Scott (absent for picture) won
the two -ball; Della Bedard, ladies club champion and runnerup Ellen Connelly. (photo

Bridge Club scores
The Goderich Bridge Club
had a seven -table Mitchell
game on Tuesday, October 5
with the average score being
70.
First East-West and first
overall were Joanne Duck-
worth and Lee Ryan with 87;
second, Evelyn Galbraith
and Dawna Sproule with
83%; and third, Nuala
Conlon and Kay Duncan with
65.
First North-South were
Helen Tench and John Wood
with 781/2; second, Mary
- Donnelly and Eleanor
Erskine with 772; and third,
Frank and Jim Donnelly
with 761.
This Saturday, October 16
the club will host its annual
two -season Swiss Team-of-
aitland Tennis QluJjLendssea,son.
The Maitland Tennis Club
recently ended its season
with a dinner meeting.
Following a delicious
meal, Chairman Shelagh
Sully thanked her executive,
especially secretary -
treasurer Barbara O'Brien
for all her help throughout
the year. Special ap-
preciation also went to John
Brown, Jim Costello and
John Jamula for their
teaching clinics and to Brian
Warrilow for his job as
tournament director and
juniors' coach.

a new member next year in
order to keep the fees down.

Following the meeting,
- Bill Partridge showed an
excellent film on the 1981
Wimbledon Tournament.
Everyone was so enthused
by the film, they came away
looking forward to the 1983
season.
The best defensive players in the Goderich Minor Soccer
League this year were: front row, left to right, Sam
Hosack, Squirt and Patrick McKee, Atom B and back row,
left to right, Lonnie Rumig, Atom A and Scott Westcott,
