Chess
Club
starts
season
This past Wednesday, the
Goderich Chess Club started
its 1982-83 season with only
four games being recorded,
although many unofficial
games were played.
The club would like to
extend a welcome to Gad
Czuldner and Charles Cook.
Gad is returning after one
year's absence and Charles
after three. Both Gad and
Charles will make worthy
opponents.

arrive' light for salt from
Kingsville October 8 and
cleared harbor for Thunder
Bay the same day.
The Montrealais arrived
light for grain from Quebec
City for the first time here
October 3 and cleared habor
the next day for Port Cartier.
The Spruce Glen (formerly
the Robert S. Peirson)
arrived from Thunder Bay
October 6 and cleared harbor
light for Thunder Bay
October 8.
