Michael James O'Neill of
Kingsbridge died in
Alexandra Marine and
General Hospital, Goderich
on Friday, October 6 at the
age of 74.
He was born in Ashfield
Township on February 10,
1908 to John Joseph and
Martha (Sinnett) O'Neill.
He was a life-long resident
of Ashfield Township and
worked as a farmer. He was
a member of St. Joseph's

He is survived by three
sisters, Mrs. Cyril
(Catherine) Austin and Mrs.
Desmond (Mary) O'Donnell,
both of Kingsbridge and Mrs.

Huntington, West Virginia;
and two brothers, Thomas of

McCallum Funeral Home in
Goderich on Thursday
evening, October 7 at 8 p.m.
by the Knights of Columbus
and at 8:30 p.m. Friday
evening, October 8 by St.
Joseph's Parish.
Interment was in St.
Joseph's Cemetery,
Kingsbridge.
Pallbearers were Pat
O'Neill, Ken Fitzpatrick,
Paul O'Donnell, James
Moore, Joe O'Neill and Dan
Moore, all nephews of the
late Mr. O'Neill.

The Huron Happy Hearts
Round Dance Club was.
saddened to hear of the death
of their president, Bruce
Morrice of Grand Bend. He
died suddenly while
decorating the church for
Thanksgiving.
He is survived by his wife,
Blanche (Snetsinger); two
daughters, Mrs. Frank
(Evelyn) Bryans of Barrie
and Elizabeth of London;
two sons, Brian of Grand
Bend and David of Van-
couver; and four grand-
children.
A funeral service was held
in the Anglican Church,
Grand Bend. Many members
of the'dance club attended.

Alexandra Marine and on Saturday, October 9 at the
General Hospital on Sunday, age of 35.
October 10 at the age of 53. He was born in Hay
Township on January 31,
1947' to Walter and Janet
(Riley) Debold.
He married Elizabeth
(Betty) Hallam in Goderich
on February 3, 1971.
Following their marriage,
they lived in Auburn and
Ashfield Township.
The late Mr. Debold
worked as a scrap metal
dealer. He was an adherent
of Victoria Street United
Church.
He is survived by his wife;
two daughters, Debbie and
Doreen, both at home; his
father, Walter Debold of
Listowel; and two sisters,
Mrs. Russ (Janette)
Baynham and Mrs. Doug
(Christina) Sadler, both of
London.
He was predeceased by
one son, Benjamin.
A funeral service was held
at Stiles Funeral Home,
Goderich on Tuesday,
October 12 at 2 p.m. The
Reverend John D.M. Wood
officiated.
Interment was in Ball's
Cemetery, Auburn.
Pallbearers were Adam
Smith, Harry Brindley,
Robert. Rising, Mervin
Blackwell, Morris Chesbro
and Ron Eggleston.
Flower bearers were
David Srtijth and .Michael
Essery.
He was born in Goderich
on August 31, 1929 to William
Edward and Mary Elva
(Vodden) Daer.
He was aWe-long resident
of Goderich and worked as a
labpurer in a lumber yard.
He was an adherent of
Victoria Street United
Church.
He is survived by his
parents, William and Mary
Daer of Goderich; one sister,
Mrs. James (Lucille) Martin
of Goderich; and seven
brothers, Murray, Benson
and Ralph, all of Goderich,
Allan 'of Meaford, Joseph of
Clinton, Clarence of Van-
couver and Ernest of Acton.
A funeral service and
committal were held at
Stiles Funeral Home,
Goderich on Tuesday,
October 12 at 3:30 p.m. The
Reverend John D.M. Wood
officiated, assisted by
Captain Charles Will of the
Salvation Army.
Interment was in the
Maitland Cemetery,
Goderich.

car tour
Ross and Jean MacKenzie
were off last weekend for
three or four days on a tour of
the country to see its beauty
at this time of the year. They
went down to Port Huron
where they crossed the bord-
er into Michigan, up to Sault
Ste. Marie, where they cros-.
sed again into Canada, and
came home around by the
lakes. The weather''was just
perfect for their outing and
they found the scenery wond-
erful too.
We are sorry to report that.
Mrs. Finlay (Margie) Mac-
Donald and her. son, George,
have both been under the
weather thin past week. "Get
well soon.
Congratulations to Mr.
and Mrs. Leroy Drennan on
the arrival of another son
Wednesday morning. The
proud grandparents are Mr.

day to see Mrs. Viola Far-
quhar, a patient in the
Goderich Hospital and to see
Mrs. Norma Young, also of

wearing a whip lash collar
since the car accident last
May. Finlay goes to the
Kincardine hospital every
day for therapy and will see a
specialist in London early in
December.
Mrs. Jessie Alton of Luck -
now visited one day the first
of the week with her brother
and sister-in-law, Charles
.and Mayme Wilkins before
she leaves for Australia the
first of November where she
will once again spend the
winter down under.
Elizabeth Wilkins, daugh-
ter of Charles and Mayme
Wilkins, had her family call
on her Wednesday evening
to help her celebrate her
eighteenth birthday.

inducts
three
members
Three new members were
inducted into the Goderich
Rotary Club when the club -
met Tuesday, October' 12 at
noon. Donald Keillor, John
Hayman and John Lawrence
were presented with Rotary
pins by president Marc
Chalut. The induction
ceremony was carried out by
a charter member :and past
president, Malcolm Cam-
pbell. He outlined Rotary
goals and some history of the
club. -
Club members will join the
Kincardine club October 27
for an evening meeting.
All members are en-
couraged to entertain the
exchange student on some
occasion during her year
here.
