A group of 16 Quebec students spent a week in the Huron County area completing an ex-
change program with their 411 counterparts from Huron. On Thursday the two 411 groups
enjoyed a tour of Goderich that included a stop at the Huron County Pioneer Museum.

Tourist counsellor responds
Dear Editor,
As an employee in the,
Tourist Information Booth, I
wish to clarify a slight
misunderstanding. During
the three years which I have
worked in the booth, we have
never turned campers away
from the Goderich area
because there were no camp-
sites available. However,
there have been many occa-
sions this summer and past
summers where there has
been no motel or hotel ac-
commodation available in
Goderich or the area.
I would also like to take
this opportunity to comment
on the two preceding letters
regarding the communica-
tion systcm between the
tourist booth- and the cam-
pgrounds. It is difficult,
when working alone, to Fuld
the time to telephone every
campsite owner in the
Goderich area to determine
whether they have camp-
sites available. The -usual
procedure is to call a specific
campground when asked by
a tourist.
I wish to make a sugges-
tion to the campground
