Point , Farms Provincial
Park, located just north of
Goderich on Highway 21,
offers excellent op-
portunities for picnicking,
swimming, sunbathing,
sports and camping. The
following events have been
planned for area residents,
perk campers and visitors
this coming week.
A variety of good reading
is available from the Huron
County Bookmobile from
1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on
Thursday, August 19
followed by crafts at the
beach at 4:30 p.m. A lively
hour of pi ppm 7 and games
at the barn will start, at 7
p.m. Everyone is welcome!
Meet at the campfire
circle at 8 p.m. for a rousing
.round, of rollicking reper-
toire plus games, stunts and
stories. Fun for the whole
family on Friday evening.
Batter up! There will be a
softball game at 4 p.m. on
Saturday, August 21 for all
ages. Spectators are needed
too LAt 7:45 p.m. a haywagon
will bring everyone from the
campgrounds to the barn for
the square dance. Kick up
your heels at the barn at 8:30
p.m. for colourful modern
square dancing demon-
strations performed by the
Clinton Wheel 'N' Dealers
and the Huron Happy
Hearts. Callers will teach
you the steps and then
everyone can join in the fun.
