reunite
The Johnston and' Baker
reunion was held at the home
of Grace and Arthur John-
ston of Bluewider Beach,
Goderich recently with 77
attending from as far away
as Kansas City, M.O..,
Ottawa, Toronto, Barrie,
LiORS Head, London, Dor-
chtes, Sarnia and Lucian.
A lovely pot luck meal was
enjoyed by all Races for the
children up to 15 years of age
were held with the parents
enjoying it just as much as
the children. The ladies' kick
the Shoe was won by Donna
Sherwood; the 2. men's kick
the shoe by Brian Johnston.
•The couple married the,
longest was Mr. and Mrs.
Bruce Johnston. The oldest
person present was Mrs.
Mildred Mulholland and the
youngest persoo present was
Colleen Moore.
A balloon contest was, won
by. Maureen Sullivan and
Michael Bradford. Guessing
the number'of pennies was
won by Mrs. Cameron
McFarlane.
The person coming the
furthest to the reunion was
Mrs. Mary Morris from
Kansas City, M.O. and the
closest was Mrs. Barbara
Moore of Imam
The men enjoyed a game
of horseshoes.
A very interesting person
attending the reunion this
year was Mrs. Jean Gordier,
mother of Jean Ann Arm-
strong, who wrote up the
Johnston history.
Next , year's game ac-
tivities will be taken care of
by Miss Donna Clark and
Miss Carrie Steele and the
reunion will be held at the
same place.

ed, for later Saturday after-

perfect opportunity to look

life around us. At 9 p.m on
Saturday night, the
Moonlight Movie Hour will
take .you deeper into life in
the •forest through the eye of
the movie camera.• During
the arts and crafts session on
• Sunday morning at 11 a.m.,
we will be doing decoupage,
a craft suitable for every
member of the family and
resulting in beautiful decora-
tions for your home — or
tent! Don't miss the fun!

The Falls Reserve Con-
servation Area is located
just west of. Benmiller on
County Road 31, four miles
east of the town of Goderich.

Point Farms Provincial
Park, located six kilometres
north of Goderich on
Highway 21, offers excellent
opportunities for swimming,
sunbathing, picnicking and
sports. Don't miss any of the
fun activities for area
residents, campers and
visitors.
A variety of good reading
is availablefrom the Huron
County Bookmobile from
1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on
Thursday, August 12. Crafts
and games for children
begin at 4:30 p.m. at the
beach followed by a lively
hour of puppetry and games
at the barn at 7 p.m.
Everyone is welcome.
On Friday, meet at the
campfire circle for a rousing
round of rollicking reper-
toire plus...games, stunts and

family at his neighboring

At 8 pan, visit the barn for a
Twilight Hour of films for
everyone's enjoyinent.
You are welcome to attend
an old-fashioned church ser-
vice and sing -a -long at the
barn on Sunday morning at
11:30 a.m.
