The bride was given in marriage by her father. She `wore a :white gown of im- ported French lace and organza. A Queen Anne neckline topped a bodice of re -embroidered lace studded with pearls. A satin ribbon at the waist was held by a late applique at. the back. The bishop sleeves featuredre- embroidered appliques and lace ruffles at the wrists. Fide layers of French im- ported lace swept into a cathedral -length train. A re - embroidered Juliet cap held a fingertip sheer illusion veil studded -Kith lace appliques. Matron of honor was Sherry Watson of Goderich, cousin of the bride. She wore a floor•length lilac colored gown and carried a bouquet Art seminars Three art seminars will be conducted by Denise Ireland whose work is on display throughout August at the Blyth Gallery. The first seminar, August 16 at 2 p.m., will be a slide retrospective of Denise Ireland's work. A children's practical seminar will be held on. August 17 at 2 p.m. It will in- volve the children in art of their choice. Supplies should be brought by the children. Wednesday, August 18 br- ings a. similar adult workshop at 2 p.m. ,Again, ideas on the style of work to be -done and the ap- propriate:supplies should be provided by those who come. The bride is the daugther of Albert McClinchey of Ottawa and the late Ruby McClinchey and the groom is the son of Colin and Vivian Moffatt of Ottawa. The Reverend John G Duff officiated at the double -ring ceremony. ' The bride wore her mother's 40 -year-old wed- ding dress of ivory chiffon with a satin quilted jacket. Her hat was ivory with a silk rose at the back which held a small veil -and she, carried a bouquet of natural pink sweetheart roses and white baby carnations. Mrs.. Anne. MacLaren of Ottawa, friend of the bride, was matron of honor. She wore a long polyester gown of soft pink with sheer pleated cape and carried a bouquet of silk pink and white carnations.and daisies with white ribbons. Bridesmaid was Tara Carrigan of ' Ottawa, daughter of the bride. She wore a long yellow gown with sheer full-length panels held by yellow daisies. The groom's mother assisted wearing a medium blue silk polyester street - length dress with cap sleeves and a corsage of white .roses with pink ribbon. • For , a wedding trip to Gananaque, Toronto, Benmiller, Clinton and Goderich, the bride changed to an off-white linen suit and red silk blouse with a cor- sage of red carnations with off-white ribbon: Chit -of --town guests present at the wedding were from Port Alberny, B.C., Parksville, B.C., London, Exeter, Goderich ' and Mississippi Lake. The bride and groom received. a telegram from the bride's aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Errington and cousins Faye and Patricia of Picton and Fonthill who were unable to attend.
