FRENCH 4 DENOMMES 2 French split a pair of games list week. On Wednesday, against the Arrangers with the game -tied at one in the fifth, French struck for three runs to put the game away, the key hit being a two run single by Jon Bogie who also went the distance, throwing a four hitter to earn the win. On Men's Night, July 5, 48 men played, with Jack Hoffmeyer and Tim Jasper tying ,for first. Dan Stringer came in second, with Ebb Ross, third. Closest to the pin on number seven was Allan IV -en -n-44. Tonynneele was the draw. winner. Other golf prizes were won by Jack `Hinton, Ralph Neville, Don Stewart, Greg Lapaine, Ross McDaniel, Mike Donnelly, Bud Worthy and Allan MacDonald. , There were 2a ladies who took part in Ladies Night on July 6. The Maitland Ladies ' have also been represented in the Hanover Invitational' in June. Unfortunately, no one was able to go to the .-Owen Sound Tournament last Tuesday. But now after working at the golf course and getting the chance to golf myself, I realize it is a great' sport for relaxation.
