The bride is the daughter of .Mr. and Mrs. George Warner of Goderich and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Walsh of Blyth. The Reverend G.L. Royal officiated at the double ring ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore her mother's floor - length wedding, gown of chantilly lace and net over satin trimmed with sequins and pearls with a matching lace jacket with Peter Pan collar and lily -point sleeves. Her fingertip veil of silk illusion was held by a Juliet cap of pleated tulle, sprinkled with sequins and rhinestones. She carried white sweetheart roses, peach baby's breath and white stephanotis arranged on her mother's Bible. Maid of honor was Ronda Warner of Goderich. She wore a melon colored polyester georgette cocktail - length dress with rounded neckline, elbow -length split sleeves and full skirt. She carried a spring bouquet of yellow daisies, purple status, peach miniature carnations and white baby's breath on a lace fan. Following thwedding, a reception was held at the Blyth Community Centre. The, Reverend' Wittich of Blyth officiated at, the double -ring ceremony assisted by the Reverend Cowan of Dungannon. Soloist Dixie Cameron sang Sunrise, Sunset, The Rose and The Wedding Song accompanied on the organ by Mrs. Raynard. ,. The bride was given in marriage by her parents. She wore a white sheer gown with long puffed sleeves with button cuffs and a pleated skirt with a wide brim of lace surrounding the lower skirt and train. The sweetheart neckline of the dress was accented by a pearl heart necklace, a gift from the groom. The bride also wore a finger tip veil and wide brimmed hat turned up at one side and held with a satin ribbon and sprig of lily of the valley. She carried a bouquet o of yellow roses and mauve and purple violets. Mali of honor was Patty Brindley of Goderich, friend of the bride. She wore a mauve polyester gown with spaghetti straps, a sheer satin striped high neck and matching long sleeved mauve jacket, She also wore a pearl necklace, a gift of the bride and groom. She carried a lace fan decorated with a corsage of white carnations. and mauve and purple violets. Bridesmaids were Dianne Readman of Wingham, aunt of the bride and Laurie and Darlene Kerr of Wroxeter, sisters of the bride. They were gowned the same as the maid of honor and carried 'the same flowers. Flower girl was Tara The groom's mother assisted wearing a romance blue polyester street -length dress with lace yoke and pleated skirt and a pink rose corsage. For a wedding trip to Niagara Falls and Toronto, the bride changed to a coral polyester border print dress and coat ensemble. Mr. and Mrs. Don Walsh are residing in Goderich. Prior to her wedding, the bride was feted at showers given by her co-workers at Susan Youngblut's home in Goderich; Dorothy Boughen of Clinton and Connie Tasker of Blyth. The groom's mother assisted wearing a coral Food Spot's menu expandg Bonnie Roy, new manager of the Blyth Summer Festival's Food Spot, says she can serve a crowd in minutes when armed with a microwave and her home - baked goodies. Bonnie outlined this year's expanded menu: quiche and soup of the day, chicken and beef pies, sandwich and salad plates, and lots of home baking. Bonnie will be cooking up pies, tarts, breads, and muffins. No bakery goods here, all homemade. Rhubarb punch, Bonnie's own invention, will be an addition to the tea, cof- fe and lemonade usuals. Po The Food Spot sprung up at the Festival a Lew years ago because the Blyth area did not have sufficient restaurants to ' serve the large summer theatre traf- fic. Originally run by volunteers, the Food Spot is helped out by the town's children who act as , ushers and intermission servers. Bonnie says she looks for- ward to the crowds of people she'll be meeting through her work.
