The new rates mean that an average taxpayer with an assessment of $3,000 will see the municipaltax rate jump by $34, from $315 to $349. Municipal expenitures and municipal revenues are more than double .the comparable figures in last year's budget mainly because of the community centres project Seaforth and the surrounding municipalities have un- dertaken. There are no funds set aside for the purchase or financing of a new landfill site in council's budget, although engineeringfees have been budgeted for. Nothing has been earmarked for a new fire hall, this project has been delayed.
