And of course, we haven't fop gotten the children or those who enjoy our aftertheatre cabarets and creative work- shops. The wit and wisdom of Aesop's fables come alive as Androcles, the run -away slave meets Alfred the run- away lion. A, charming friend- ship fable for young and old. The Fourposter July 27 to August 7 by Jan de Hartog directed by Aileen Taylor -Smith The story of Michael and Agnes and their 35 year marriage revolves around the beautiful old four-poster. Everything found in any marriage is here—fear, pathos, comedy, beginnings and endings. A funny, moving story we can all relate to. Butterflies are Free August 10 to August 21 by Leonard Gershe directed by John Kozak Comedy is the glass to study the interaction between a young blind man and the emotionally chaotic girl -next-door. Oliver August 24 to September 11 book, music and lyrics by Lionel Bart musical direction by Barbara Young "Please sir, I want some more." So begins Lionel Bart's brilliant adaptation of Dickens' Oliver Twist. And audiences have been expressing the same sentiment ever since the curtain first went up.
