Hayter'sheld a 3-2 lead until the third when Signal -Star bunched four singles to bring in three runs. Hayter's tied the game in the 7th when Dave Scholl doubled, then scored on an error. Myles Murdoc then singled home the tying run. Signal -Star pounded out 15 hits in their best offensive display of the year. Besides Fisher's heroics, Frayne Meriam and Bell Wraith all had two hits. Warren Watt had two for Hayter's. Daryl Beattie pitched seven sarong innings before yielding winner Jim Martin.
