employment for as many
young people as is feasible
through the ONTARIO
CAREER ACTION PRO-
GRAM (OCAP).
The Playhouse will be
looking for people to fill posi-
tions in areas such ' as
carpentry, bar and conces-
sion assistants, box office
assistants and maintenance.
To qualify as an OCAP
candidate, one must be
between the ages .of 16 to 24,
inclusive, have been out of
the educational system for at
least three months, be
unemployed but have active-
ly sought work for at least
three months,. have never
held a full-time job related to
your chosen linevf work and
have not nre!riously . par-
ticipated in OCAP:
OCAP provides successful
candidates with a $100 per
week training allowance to
aid with their expenses dur-
ing this on the job training.
Many of the past OCAP
trainees have become .
" familiar faces at the
Playhouse as full-time staff
following their time spent as
Sri OCAP trainee.

Star recorded their first
victory. Hayter'sheld a 3-2
lead until the third when
Signal -Star bunched four
singles to bring in three runs.
Hayter's tied the game in
the 7th when Dave Scholl
doubled, then scored on an
error. Myles Murdoc then
singled home the tying run.
Signal -Star pounded out 15
hits in their best offensive
display of the year. Besides
Fisher's heroics, Frayne
Meriam and Bell Wraith all
had two hits. Warren Watt
had two for Hayter's. Daryl
Beattie pitched seven sarong
innings before yielding
winner Jim Martin.
