Wayne Park of Dungannon graduated frond , the . ad- vanced motor vehicle mechanic apprenticeship program and Roger Bois of Goderich graduated from the advanced tool and diemaker apprenticeship program at Fanshawe College in London recently. Wednesday, -May 19 at 9:30--. a.m. On Wednesday, May 26 the Women's Day Out group will tour the Bluewater Centre. There will be pony rides and cartoon films for the children. Anyone interested in the tour, should call Pat Wheeler at 524-7331. Warren's Day Out meets every Wednesday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in the MacKay Centre. All women are welcome. Coffee and babysitting are provided. Garage sale planned On Tuesday, May 4 the Maple Leaf Chapter IODE met at the home of Miss Grace Hunter. Regent Mrs. W. McIntyre presided. Mrs. G. McManus, citizen- ship secretary, reported that copies of the Globe and Mail ' special edition of the Con- stitution have been placer m some schools and other public institutions. Ways and Means con- venor, Mrs. C.E. Boddy reported on the upcoming annual garage sale. This year the activities will take place in the Suncoast Mall on Saturday, May 15 starting at 9:30 a.m. with many items of value being offered. Special mention was made of the home baking table and the popular plant table for home gardeners. Mrs. W. Garrow of the ser- vices committee passed to members flannel baby nighties to be sewn ' • and nursery bags to be filled. for the delight of young children. These items will be sent. to provincial head- quarters for distribution. Mrs. Dorothy Wallace ask- ed members "to keep their Zehrs' tapes for the benefit of the New Livery Theatre. Mrs. A. :(arland reminded members of the upcoming Red Cross g mpaign, Members will be e nvassing the town the week of May 24. A report on the annual pro- vincial convention held in Hamilton was given by the three delegates, Mrs. W. McIntyre, Mrs: W. German andtMrs. C. Boddy. Congratulations were ex- tended t� Mrs. G.L.
